Data Flywheel

What is a Data Flywheel?

A data flywheel is a self-reinforcing loop where product usage generates data, that data improves models or features, better products attract more usage, and the cycle compounds.

Effective flywheels require curated feedback (not raw logs alone), stable evaluation sets, privacy controls, and promotion gates so each iteration measurably improves quality rather than amplifying bias or errors.
